Facebook Live: Ready for action, group to embark on mission to aid the Jesus Center
FacebookThe Facebook Live - Chico group is proud to begin one of its first missions, and it's for a great local cause: feeding the hungry.

The Food Bank "Tweetup" at Cash and Carry will be Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and the premise is simple. Just show up, go inside and purchase as many # 10 (gallon) cans as you would like to donate. Then take the can outside to the Jesus Center truck and donate it. It's that easy to help needy people in our community! Cash and Carry is located in the shopping plaza at Mangrove Avenue and Palmetto, the address is 930 Mangrove Ave.

Facebook Live - Chico encourages all to spread the word via email or Facebook or Twitter or any other way possible. We've had a major boost in interest, with 308 members as of now. If you're not on the list, join in!

Meetings are open to the public, but don't feel that meetings are the only ways to contribute. Just by keeping up with the discussion posts and submitting your help and ideas on the Facebook page, you're helping the effort.

You can visit the page and join the group by clicking here. You must have a Facebook account to join.
