Facebook Live: A new idea linking Chico in an effort to make it a better place to live
|
Twenty more people have joined the Facebook Live - Chico California group on Facebook.com in just the past four days. If you haven't, be like the 233 people who have joined on and visit the page and get involved!
You can visit the page and join the group by clicking here. You must have a Facebook account to join.
The group met Wednesday at Uptime CoWorking Studio for its first meeting and came up with many ideas of how to improve Chico's quality of life, its economic base and how to get more people linked together.
Some possible topics for the future: "Improving and expanding our social networks, discussions
on making Chico more of a place of tolerance, supporting organizations
that help the homeless and youth. And linking groups together that have
historically been at odds for a public benefit."
It was such a great group discussion that there will be another meeting, Jan. 21 at 4:30 at Uptime. Even if you can't attend in person, you can make your ideas known on the Facebook page.
