Series RF Rotary Actuators.... Keeping a Low Profile!

Many applications call for high speed rotary orientation for small component assembly. PHD's Series RF Rotary Actuators may be the ideal device for just such motion.

Available in three bore sizes with a standard rotation of 180 degrees, these extremely low profile actuators deliver a significant amount of torque in a very compact package.

PHD Series RF Rotary ActuatorsStandard features for the Series RF include internal urethane shock pads Their ability to absorb energy at both ends of rotation allows users to orient substantial loads at higher velocities than most any competitor's comparable actuator. Yet the adjustable integrated hard stop still provides zero backlash for precise positioning at both ends of rotation.

All three sizes are available in both imperial and metric versions providing design flexibility for a truly world market. Additional options include such conveniences as external flow controls and mounting kits for inductive or magnetically actuated proximity switches.

Glass Industry Opportunities....         PHD Is There!

Just one of the many areas where PHD is solving application problems is the Glass Industry. Working with major glass container manufacturers, PHD has developed a "glass pusher" slide that is a performance upgrade to the OEM supplied actuator.

Easily able to withstand the high temperature and harsh environment that most all glass manufacturers require, PHD units still provide the long life and quick response essential in these production operations. After rigorous laboratory and field testing, PHD pusher slides keep on running through all of the heat and contamination.

Glass Bottle ManufacturingPHD is also providing solutions on the 'cold' end of the glass container process. PHD Grippers are being used to control the flow of containers on the many conveyors used in inspection and packaging. PHD Clamps and Slides are used to hold slip sheets in place during palletizing applications.

With the knowledge that PHD products are robust enough to endure these difficult environments, many designers look to us to provide solutions for their other manufacturing challenges.
