If you're in need of a low profile saddle-style slide that still delivers on force, then take a look at PHD's Series SM Slide. Available in five bore sizes with a choice of three travel ranges, these versatile slides can carry typical loads from just a few ounces up to 70 pounds. Static loading capacities can be much greater to withstand forces that may be exerted while the unit is at rest.
 The Series SM is available with your choice of low cost polymer bearings or higher precision linear ball bushings for a higher loading capacity. With driving pistons contained within each of its two bearing bores, these slides can deliver twice the thrust of typical single bore slides. Fully integrated optional shock absorbers or travel adjustments with shock pads allow for easy adjustment of travel without increasing the overall package size.
Series SM Slides are available in both Imperial and Metric models for greater application flexibility in worldwide markets. An optional magnetic piston provides operation of PHD's Series JC1 Switches mounted in the grooves of the slide body. All units are offered with stainless steel fasteners as standard for superior corrosion resistance.
