Series GRL Grippers... Long Travel, High Value |
|
PHD Series GRL Grippers are available in two sizes with two jaw travel increments per size. This versatile combination can satisfy a wide range of application requirements.
Designers have the choice of either a 14mm bore or a 16mm bore for different gripping forces and total jaw travels from 7mm to 26mm. Available in either metric or imperial versions, these extremely narrow units are specifically designed to be mounted on close centers making them very useful in multi-unit arrays. Rugged jaw support and hardcoated bearing surfaces ensure long cycle life with smooth, parallel jaw motion. Double acting operation provides both internal and external gripping capability.
Grippers are available in either a synchronized or non-synchronized jaw versions for greater design flexibility. Additional options include such features as manifold ports to help eliminate cumbersome external air lines. Solid state switches are also available for convenient indication of gripper position.
