Do your automation applications call for multiple intermediate stopping positions or infinitely adjustable end positions? Do they require typical load capacities from just 1 or 2 pounds up to 250 pounds? If you need linear travels from a few inches to as much as 11 feet then consider PHD's Series SFM Multiple Position Slides. Available in both 27mm and 40mm bore sizes, these linear slides offer optional modular mid-position actuators that can be mounted virtually anywhere along the axis of travel. Additional end-stops provide highly accurate yet adjustable end positions of travel. 
Series SFM Slides are constructed with an extremely rugged extruded aluminum body incorporating a precision ground rail and bearing system for high payload and moment capacities with minimal deflection.
The actuator utilizes a stainless steel outer band to protect the precision internal bearing system from dirt and contaminates. Intermediate stopping positions also include dampened deceleration via integrated shock absorbers for high velocity and high capacity loading. A removable Saddle with standard dowel holes allows for the easy addition of custom mounting holes for user tooling components.
