Greetings!
Here, in this December issue, our featured product is really several types of Eject Slides. Coming from our Plastic Packaging Components Group, these High Speed, High Energy Slides might be just the actuator required for your product ejection applications.
Our December Application Highlight focuses on filling processes. PHD has made many inroads in the liquid filling arena with replacement actuators that outperform and outlast the original equipment supplied on many machines.
Also, again this month, PHD has published more new animations on our learn site. The spotlight this month is on our Series GRB Grippers.
To your continued success!

Proven Eject Solutions (for the plastic packaging industry)
Eject Slides come in many different styles and shapes, with each one targeted for a custom purpose. PHD now offers several different models for specific applications. These include ejection of preforms or blown bottles in the stretch blow mold industry, or ejection of low-fill level bottles or cans or missing/incorrect cap or presence of foreign material in the filled container.
Typical models may feature PHD's TC composite bearing components and high energy shock pads for extremely high speed applications. Integrated or manifold mounted valves allow for rapid pressurization and quick breakaway.
Stretch blow machine eject slides are, in most cases, drop in replacements for the OEM product. Our slides reduce downtime and give a more consistent ejection.
Filling inspection eject slides can be ordered as wash down capable, and provide reliable container ejection up to 2300 per minute. PHD Eject Slides can be sized for empty or full containers of most any size, mass, and production speed.
Check out some of the various models and styles available today in the growing family of PHD Eject Slides. |

Filling containers? PHD will listen and can offer solutions!
The filling industry is overflowing with opportunities. By working with customers MDN and PHD have developed a litany of solutions. From pre-fill function such as air dryer cylinders and depalletizer grippers thru stretch wrapping the pallet, applications abound.
If you're filling using a rotary filling machine, odds are that it uses a cam follower wheel for some function. Many customers have lived with limited life, poor availability and high cost replacement wheels from the OEM. PHD has designed, built and provided cam follower wheels for many machine types. By working with the customer to determine the dimensional and performance characteristics desired we have been able to meet the need for long life, high performance, wheels.
PHD has also supplied valve opener cylinders, drive cylinders for displacement fillers, volumetric pumps, ball valve actuators, cylinder upgrades for net weight fillers and multiple other solutions. Please allow your MDN salesman to review your applications for potential process and productivity improvements.
Let us help you find solutions for your filling challenges.
