Application Highlight
Dairy Industry Focus

PHD products have always been known as rugged and reliable, with a great reputation in the automotive industry due to long life and sturdy service in harsh environments.

Those same attributes apply to the Dairy industry too, where PHD has also enjoyed success.  Most of the PHD products are used in facilities where foods are being purified and packaged.  You can find a variety of PHD Cylinders on dairy conveyors lines in applications such as crate stacking, diverting, conveyor stops, and lift tables.

Where an actuator comes in close contact Cheese Wedgewith foodstuffs, PHD supplies units made with stainless steel, PET, and Ertalyte.  All of these materials work well in wash down applications and can withstand the caustic cleaning solutions used in dairies.

PHD also provides products used to make plastic milk jugs.  Cylinders, Slides and Grippers are used on equipment to transfer, label, and package the blow molded bottles.

The fact that PHD products are used in the Dairy industry illustrates the versatility of the product line.  Whether the application is food related, medical, semiconductor, electronics, textile, plastics, or a foundry, PHD Inc. has products that fit the environment.

Got a difficult problem you just can't solve? Chances are, we've seen a similar challenge before. Let us help!
