Weekly Inspirational Tip

WEEKLY INSPIRATIONAL TIP

It's that time again, the time when everything returns to a routine.  So perhaps it might be a good idea to go ahead and schedule a little "YOU TIME" into that routine.  If you don't schedule it in, I promise you it will be pledged to another "task" of some sort.  If you can swing it, 60 minutes is a good time to shoot for.  Quiet time just for you.  No interruptions, use a "Do Not Disturb" sign if you must.  Do what your heart desires - could be a bubble bath, with soft music playing & the fragrance of a softly burning candle lightly surrounding you.  Or it could be a "Quiet Room" with just you and your book.  Whatever it is - take the time, because.......The WHEN is now & the WHO is YOU (it's your turn).  When you are taking  that YOU time, think on these thoughts:

"A man may conquer a million men in battle, but one who conquers himself is indeed, the greatest of all conquerors."                      Unknown

Weekly Recipe

Recipe of the Week
Recipe of the week:      RICE PUDDING

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet  of I.P. Vanilla Pudding
  • 1/2 head large cauliflower
  • 3 TBS Da Vinci's French Vanilla Syrup
  • Sprinkles of Cinnamon
  • Stevia or Truvia "to taste"  (the recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups, but I think it is a typo)
  • 2 Tbs Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
  • 2 Packets Knox Gelatin
  • 4 oz Hot Water

  1. Cook the cauliflower and mash it up, leaving some small "chunks" & make sure you get all water out of it.
  2. Mix the French Vanilla Syrup, Pancake Syrup and Cinnamon into the mashed cauliflower.
  3. Pour 4 oz of hot water into blender & add Knox Gelatin, mix on low speed until dissolved.
  4. Add Truvia or Stevia to gelatin & blend until dissolved.  Add this mixture to cauliflower mixture and fold together.
  5. Taste test at this time.
  6. You may add more of any of the ingredients to your liking.
  7. Put into a bowl & refrigerate a couple hours, giving ingredients time to "merge."
