INSPIRATIONAL TIP If you are one of those individuals who are always searching for the magic ingredient, or the missing ingredient to weight loss, this is your day! I have found the answer and I'm going to share it with you. I only have one favor to ask of you, and that is that you pay it forward. Share the good news. The magic ingredient is......... to pat yourself on the back! Before you go ballistic on me I want you to hear me out. How often do you "beat yourself up" when you have "cheated" during your weight loss? How severely do you berate yourself? How worthless can you make yourself feel? You see, I know because I've done it time & time again. Do you know what happens when we do that? All those negative words take up residence in our sub conscious. Then our sub conscious repeats them back to us many times over & makes us believe that we cannot achieve our goal or even be remotely successful. That is the prime reason so many do not attain their goal, and also regain the weight that they have lost. What we must do instead is to spend an equal amount of time (plus a little bit more) patting ourselves on the back when we make a good choice, in everything we do! Verbalize it out loud, over and over. "Wow JoAnn, I really am proud of you. That was a great decision in turning down that ice cream! You rock woman, you are going to look really good in that 2 piece bathing suit." Seriously, I must do this 10 - 15 times a day. Don't do it "on the run," stop and think about those words you are saying, repeat it over & over, and finally internalize it, lock it in. Make sure it has registered, make yourself believe it. You will be amazed at what a difference this will make in your self confidence, and hence your weight loss. Pay it forward!

Recipe of the Week Apple Cider Vinegar Salad Dressing
Ingredients:
- 2/3 parts Apple Cider Vinegar. Some people prefer adding a little water as well.
- 1/3 part olive oil
Add The Following To Your Liking: - Garlic
- Ginger
- Lemon Juice / and / or Zest
- Any amount of different herbs & seasonings (sugar/sodium/carb free)
- Salt & Pepper
- Dijon Mustard (optional)
I usually multiply this recipe by 10 or 15 and put in a shaker bottle so I don't have to make it each time.
