Play by Play Hunt Report

25th Anniversary

September 20, 2012

Our WSI team has fully transitioned into our fall hunting routine. This is the time of the year that we prepare for and that we look forward to the most.

Our newly acquired pronghorn antelope country in New Mexico proved to be a real hit, with plenty of animals and respectable quality, especially considering the drought that has been in place in that area for some time. After seeing our antelope herds crash in West Texas over the last few years, it was refreshing to see large groups antelope and was also encouraging to see lots of fawns.

In spite of some rainfall blowing out most of the dove off our dove fields a few days prior to the start of our dove season, we still managed to have some good shoots, and we'll provide some photos from those activities in our next PBP.

As you'll see in the photos that accompany this PBP, we have also had some recent activity with our exotic hunting, including an assortment of species that we've taken over the last few weeks. In the upcoming month, we'll have an active schedule of aoudad sheep and nilgai antelope hunts taking place and we'll look forward to posting some of those photos as we move forward.

Please click on the link below to enjoy some harvest photos from these recent hunts. And, don't hesitate to give us a call if we can assist with any hunting plans that you may be considering.
