WSI  ENews...Serving Hunters' and Landowners' Needs Since 1987

 WSI Editorial

Okay, I must admit, with a few cool mornings in the last few days, I'm beginning to transition into the fall mood. Friday night lights, pigskin rivalries, first gunshots of autumn from dove hunters, and shortening of days. This is my favorite time of the year.

As they say change is eminent, and over the years, we have had various changes in personnel, here at WSI. Seems that I'm good at morphing quality wildlife professionals into other endeavors, such as the insurance business, firemen, coaching, and other occupational directions. Well, that trend continues to hold its course, as Justin Bryan will be leaving at the end of this month to get into the banking business in Fort Worth.

Though Justin was with us for only about 18 months, he left a great fingerprint on various aspects of our business activities, especially with certain marketing ideas, as well as the style of our Enews communication, and certain matters related to our website. Our popular video series on our website, "Real Hunts with Real Hunters" was his brainchild.

Justin is a consummate professional with a most disciplined disposition. His even-keeled nature will serve him well in any field of endeavor, including the banking business. His wife, Marcy, is finishing up her medical internship and the DFW market in her professional field should provide a stronger market place as she develops her career path. I wish their family well and I am certain these will be good changes and opportunities for them.

With change, comes opportunity. We are excited about Jennifer Sanchez coming aboard as our new office administrator/special projects director. Her qualifications and skill sets should compliment WSI really well. As you know, it will take her a while to get accustomed to names and voices over the phone, and I ask that you help celebrate her arrival through being patient with us during this transition. More details about Jennifer are listed below.

From now through the end of the year, our pace at WSI will range from brisk to warp speed. We'll begin posting our Play by Play Hunt Reports on a regular basis. Our staff will be in their element, catering to our clients and doing what they love to do, and what they do well. It will be hectic at times in our office, so please bear with us if you get our voice recordings, and be sure to leave us a message or drop us an email.

For those of you who have hunts booked with us, I want to personally say "thank you". We know you have choices, and we appreciate you placing your trust in us.

Cheers,

Greg Simons
