Spring turkey season is over, but as you can see from the accompanying photos, we are still taking some exotics. From this point until early September, most of our time will be spent on typical off-season projects, such as blinds, feeders, cabins, and other equipment projects. We will also be conducting a few exotic hunts, and the summer is the best time for axis deer hunts, and is also not a bad time for free-ranging aoudad sheep, and a few other of the African antelope species. We have openings for our very popular nilgai antelope hunts for  September and October, so please check in with us if you would like to get something on the books for that period. A big mucho gracias to all the folks that have chosen WSI to host their hunt over the last several months.

Cheers,

Your friends at WSI.

Let's here it for auctions. WSI donated an aoudad hunt to the Lehigh Valley chapter of SCI and Don Detwiler was the lucky bidder. Don wasted no time in arranging his hunt date and preparing for a great hunt. All that preparation and anticipation came together this past April as Don scored on a great aoudad from west Texas.

Summer time means exotic hunting in Texas. The Greenwood Valley ranch provides an excellent location for corporate and large groups of friends to have some time in the field and away from work.

What can you say about the Harkey Ranch, the facilities are stunning and the wildlife is plentiful. Kyle, Lelan, and Robert all were able to harvest exceptional axis on this hunt.

South Texas is hot, meterologically and from a hunting perspective. As turkey season is winding down, the exotic hunting still continues to be strong.
