Thank you for taking the time to review our WSI Play by Play Hunt Report. As you can see, we remain busy with various hunts going on around the state, and our hunters have been enjoying the fruits of these efforts. It is not too late to schedule your spring turkey hunt, or perhaps a nilgai, or one of our other exotic game options, so let us hear from you if you have the hunting bug. We hope you have time to find a spring break in your schedule, and wish you safe travels on any road trips you have coming up.

I wanted to send an email and let you know that all of us had a great Nilgai hunt last week at the H Yturria camp. The accommodations, the guides, Rudy the manager, the cooks, etc were great. I decided I want to come back as soon as I stepped foot into camp.

Ruben was a great guide. He explained everything extremely well and put me in a great position to take a 120 yard shot at the Nilgai. Now I am processing a lot of tasty meat that I will enjoy for a long time. Keep up the great work. I think all businesses could learn from Wildlife Systems how to treat people.   David Kloc

 

 

Justin, We hunted at the H.Yturria Ranch on 2/21-2/23 (the Buesching party), and I wanted to tell you first hand (survey was sent) how much I enjoyed the hunt. The cabins, cooks and food were great, but most importantly your staff was outstanding. My son and I hunted with Rudy, Dave Kloc with Ruben, Phil and Roger with Jackie and Keith. THEY WERE ALL OUTSTANDING. I've been on many guided hunts BUT NEVER have I had such a fantastic time. After the first hour we were there our group and the guides were like best friends. Please pass this information on to the other managers or owners that they can be proud of their employees and their expertly run business. Thank you for your very kind e-mail, the girls loved your personal message to them.  Our family had a wonderful time at the Ranch, and Kaitlyn especially enjoyed her time with you and I on our Nilgai stalk.  They will have wonderful memories to share with their friends and I think their love for the outdoors grows each time we have an experience like this.

I have attached a few pictures of you and Katy as well as one of you and I and one of Kendall and Pat going on a "stalk."  Priceless!

If any of yours turned out well I would love to see them.

I really do want to thank you for the great hunt we shared as well as the rest of the weekend.  The people, accommodations, and food were first class and we really enjoyed ourselves.  I would recommend this hunt to anyone. Roger Crider

 

 

 

 

Yturria Hunt 


As we stated in the last Play by Play, aoudad popularity has taken off nationally. Now we can say it has taken off internationally, as we hosted 5 great hunters from Mexico. As you can tell from the photos aoudad hunting is great for a variety of reasons....not your typical whitetail hunt. On another subject we hosted a great group of predator hunters from New Jersey. They were able to harvest a fair amount of coyotes and bobcat....below are a few photos.

Mule deer hunts from the A.S Gage ranch have been added, you will not want to miss these. Soon to follow will be west Texas aoudad and south Texas nilgai.

Good things just keep happening  down on the Yturria Ranch. Many a nilgai have fallen to the swift bullet of our hunters. To throw a little variety in the mix, we have also had great success with addax, lechwe, scimitar horned oryx, and zebra hunters this year.
