I have already sent a very favorable report to The Hunting Report, for which I am a subscriber.  I gave WSI high marks, and added kudos for Jackie Murphy as a great guide.  I have now hunted with you twice this year, and am booked to hunt again in 2012, so am happy to serve as a reference.

I have already completed my review.  I gave your service and guides all 10.  At the time I went aoudad hunting, I had just lost my job, my partner bailed on the hunt and I was not in the best of moods.  The guides and cook were great to be with and helped me enjoy the hunt very much. It was a difficult hunt and is now my favorite hunt memory.  Keep up the good work.

Keep the emails coming, I do enjoy looking at all the pics and hunting reports as that is about all I can do these days. The financial situation still precludes me from hunting this year but there is always hope for next year. I am not hunting, nor would I hunt with anyone else. You and the WSI people are the best in the business as far as I am concerned and I wish you all the best in the new year.

Just a note to say that I had great time with Ruben and Alan down at the Yturria.  Thanks so much for allowing me change species in mid stream.  As you probably know, I wound up with a really nice Scimitar Horned Oryx.  He will score about 88 which once again will make him gold medal material for the records of exotics.  Again with your permission I will enter him.  If given, I assume you would want me to again list Wildlife systems as the Outfitter/Ranch with the San Angelo address.  County would be Kennedy I believe.

If you get a chance to review the current edition of Records of Exotics book, Volume 19, the Blackbuck picture you took got a full page with positive comments. Page 128.
The Nilgai has become a challenge now and maybe in 2012 I can beat one.  Hunting with Alan again if possible would be great.  We can discuss if a different time of year would be better in the future, although not having much competition was nice.  Anyway,  you guys are the best and I look forward to the next time.

Greg - I had just an excellent trip down at the Punta del Monte Ranch.  No, thus far, I have not recovered my beisa oryx.  But, it still was just a great trip!!
I want to send you a $300 check to reserve a spot at the Scrub Oak Ranch, for the standard trophy hunt,  for the 2011 hunting season.  I will be coming down there alone.  But, in 2012 Russ and I will be booking another hunt down in south Texas for a couple of exotics, maybe a Classic Eight, whatever.  Russ can't make it for 2011, but is already making plans for 2012Thanx!!            John Kriewaldt

Our second trip to West Texas was ***** (5) star in all categories. I really appreciated the teamwork with the guides all helping each other and thier clients. One hunter had not taken his deer  towards the end and we were all riding around looking and texting what we were seeing. Now, that was fun!
Jackie is a great leader in camp and David is one heck of a cook. He needs his own TV show. I guess the name Camp David is taken.

I wanted to personally thank you for our wonderful time my father and I had on our West Texas Mule Deer Hunt with WSI outfitters on the Gage Ranch.  We have hunted many ranches across West Texas over the years and by far this year's outing was the best experience so far. From the moment our feet touched the ground to when we were done loading up the truck for our return journey, we were treated like royalty.
As someone involved in the sales industry and who has entertained over 100 of clients on various types of hunting trips across North America I was truly pleased with the service of the staff and the experience and professionalism of our guide.  I can say with true sincerity that Mike was one of the best guides I have ever hunted with, he is not only an exceptional hunter/guide/man but he also understands the needs of the individual hunter and matches as best he can what they're looking for in a trophy deer.
