Celia is a certified teacher of Somatic Voicework (tm) - a body-based method of vocal training which draws from many disciplines including classical singing, voice science and medicine. SVW is a state-of-the-art technique that develops power, range and control, and promotes healthy singing. It is specifically designed for the demands of CCM styles (Contemporary Commercial Music - pop, rock, jazz, folk, musical theater, etc).
Celia is also a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), and holds an MA in Theater. With over twenty-five years experience as a teacher and performer, Celia offers a blend of technical and artistic skills to help each student discover and enhance their unique voice and performance style. Celia's students are professional stage, club and recording artists, as well as the best shower singers around!
