Fall is truly one of the most exciting times here at Appalachian Spring. New designs in jewelry arrive every day, and we are able to see, touch and enjoy the fruits of our labors from our summer buying trips.

Fine Design, Affordable Luxury: Jewelry by Kathleen Maley
 A California native, Kathleen Maley has been making jewelry and art objects in San Francisco for over 14 years. Kathleen creates sculptural jewelry that highlights the contrast between sterling silver and high karat gold vermeil. In her own words: "Living most of my life on or near the Pacific Ocean, the dramatic landscape of coastal California has become a doorway to inspiration for me: the sweeping cliffs and tumbling waves, the linear horizon and the curved coastline, the textures and forms of rocks, sand and seashells -these elements become the stylized lines and forms that give shape to my work."

Sleek and Sophisticated Jewelry from Rosselini
The Rosselini line is designed by Carola Hiersemann-Eckrodt and handmade in her Stuttgart, Germany workshop. Rosselini fuses clean designs, old-world craftsmanship, high technology and above all, the finest materials obtainable, to achieve its very distinctive look. The stainless steel and aluminum parts she favors as her metals of choice are expensively treated through high-tech methods, and thickly plated in silver, rhodium and 24-karat gold to last a lifetime. The acrylic parts she designs and special orders through master artisans add a rich dimension to her contemporary creative approach. The result is a very upscale line designed for distinctive women who have a classic taste with an attitude.
