Welcome to the Spring edition of my e-newsletter.
With only a matter of days to go before the season
truly kicks off, I would like to give you all a taste of
what's in store for you this season at the studio, or
should I say Performance Centre!
In March we celebrated another mile stone in the
development of Gilroy's Golf with the opening of our
Performance Centre. After months of deliberation as
to exactly what the rear part of our building should
operate as, the decision was made to house a full
custom fit and swing analysis studio.
We now have a fantastic indoor set-up with a relaxing
lounge area, new workshop and additional parking all
ready to make your next trip to the studio a memorable
one. We look forward to welcoming you to the new
performance centre and wish you all good luck and
happy golfing for 2008.

Swing in to action this season...

As a special spring offer and to thank you for your
support I would like to invite all past customers to the
studio to undertake a 'Full Bag Assessment' including
a 30 minute putting check-up with myself. The
fitting assessment will be conducted by Mike Clark
who joined me in March from East Sussex National
Golf Club.

Yes! Authorised Fitting Centre

Just before Christmas the studio became one of only
a few recognised fitting centres in the UK to meet the
criteria set by Yes! Golf which is to offer the customers
the very best in service and putting expertise to get
their Yes! C-Groove putter properly fitted to the correct
specification. This recognition also introduced some
new software which only some of you have already
experienced. The software from Quintic allows me to
analyse the ball roll with high speed cameras and
then email you the results with my notes combined.

Whitlam Golf (UK)

At the beginning of this year, Gilroy's Golf proudly took
over the distribution of Whitlam Golf in the UK. As a
stockist for the past few years it was an opprtunity not
to miss and now we look forward to taking Whitlam to
another level.
As a putting specialist it is my
aim to make Whitlam the premium brand in the UK
with custom fitting options available from simple
length changes to laser engraving. These putters are
all CNC milled and finished in the US so the quality
and craftmanship is faultless.

Pat O'Brien & SeeMore Seminar

Back in February, Pat O'Brien, putting coach to Zach
Johnson and Vaughn Taylor, visited the studio and
was joined by one of the owners of the SeeMore
Putter Company Jason Pouliot. Together they spent
time talking to SeeMore retailers in the UK and also
recorded an interview with Setanta Golf which is due
to be aired on the run up to the Masters. I will upload
the video clip to the website as soon as it becomes
available.

Quintic Player v9.02
|

The Quintic Player v9.02 is a free software program
that allows users to view the majority of video file
formats. The program is only 1MB in size and can be
easily emailed to clients or pupils to allow them to
view any videos that you may have captured via Quintic
together with any saved analysis (Export Avi function /
Audio Memo...)
The Quintic Player v9.02
includes: frame by frame advance, slow motion, full
speed, Full Screen option, sizeable window, zoom in
& out, memo pad, create your own jpeg images,
stopwatch & keyframe marker functions...
