"I don't want my life to be explainable without the Holy Spirit.  I want people to look at my life and know that I couldn't be doing this by my own power. I want to live in such a way that  I am desperate for Him to come through.  That if He doesn't come through, I am screwed."             Francis Chan

My Father's Work

MFWThis June-Change your life and never be the same!
Throughout the month, we will join together as a community to mobilize for change. The series is called "My Father's Work", focuses on God's work around the globe for healing, justice and freedom.

Each week we will highlight an event or opportunity for you to be a part of My Father's Work. Coming up:

June 10 - Sunday morning take some time to learn about Compassion International child sponsorships at the display in the Concourse.  Make a difference in one child's life!

June 10 - Sign up for a lunch on Sunday June 17, with Wayne Branard, of International Justice Mission.  Lunch will be served by Fathered, a Hope ministry group focused on adoption and foster care.  Cost is $7/person and $5/child.  Childcare will be provided.

June 11 - Join us in Prayer for the World, 7 to 8:30pm in the worship auditorium.   We'll join in prayer with our missionaries from East Asia and join in prayer for the world.
