Join us for a morning of fun at the 2nd Annual Hope 5K. Registration is at Hope Church and the run begins at the West Creek entrance at 8:30. After the 5k enjoy The Endorphin Fitness Kids Fun Run and family activities on the Hope Church property.

Our proceeds will go to support the Family Life Line and the Richmond Big Brothers/Big Sisters. For details and to register...

Ash Wednesday Service
Tuesday, February 22 at 7pm


Ash WednesdayAsh Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent in which we prepare our hearts to embrace the truth of Christ's suffering death and resurrection.  HOPE will be holding an Ash Wednesday Service
on February 22 at 7pm.  At the service you will also be able to pick up a lenten calendar to help you interact with God in the 40 days leading up to Easter.

Bag it Sunday 

 

Bag it SundayEach month we collect and deliver food to the Goochland Food Pantry to distribute to those in need. Fill a bag with non perishable food and bring it in Sunday, March 4. Volunteers are also needed to help deliver food donations to the Pantry, please contact Nancy Chafin  for details.  Use the quick link at the left for the Pantry's basic list.

Newcomer's CoffeeJoin us between the services for a coffee, an opportunity to learn more about our church, and to meet some of our leaders. Happening - Sunday, March 4, at 10:35  at the far end of the concourse across from the worship auditorium.  
The Book on Love
March  22 - 24

The Book on LoveJoin us for a weekend of teaching and discovery of what the Bible says about marriage.  This is for any couple, regardless of how long you've been married or if you are not yet married.  David Dwight is our main bible teacher and several other couples also participate as facilitators and speakers.  "The Book on Love" is Thursday and Friday, March 22,23 from 7:00-9:30pm, and Saturday March 24, 8:30-3:00.  There is a registration fee of $30/couple or $15/person. Hope Thrift Ministry of the Month
Saturday, February 26

Hope ThriftShop the Thrift on Feb 25 and help "Men in Ties" a faith-based group of middle school boys in need of role models in their lives. Funds raised will give them the opportunity to attend an urban men's conference, Man Up in Atlanta this spring where they will hear from speakers about Responsibility, Authority, Envy, Temptation, Courage and Repentance.
Making an Impact
Wednesday, Feb 29 

Come join others and learn more about what Hope is doing around the world and around our community.  This month we will meet Mark and Joanna Stewart, new Hope partners preparing to go to Camden, England with World Harvest Mission.  The World Impact fellowship meets on Wednesday, February 29, 7:00-8:30 pm in the Conference Room.
Worship Arts Auditions
Sunday, March 4 

Have a talent you'd like to share in worship? Auditions for Hope Worship Arts musicians and vocalists will be held on Sunday, March 4 following the 11:15 service. Sign ups are on the bulletin board outside of the studio. Questions? Email Tyler Crowley: tcrowley@hopecentral.com.

Scott and Anne Gaskill on the birth of Bennett James on February 17, 2012 weighing 9 lbs 8.5 oz. "His brothers, Danny and Josh, love him already!"
