Join us for a morning of fun at the 2nd Annual Hope 5K. Registration is at Hope Church and the run begins at the West Creek entrance at 8:30. After the 5k enjoy The Endorphin Fitness Kids Fun Run and family activities on the Hope Church property.

Our proceeds will go to support the Family Life Line and the Richmond Big Brothers/Big Sisters. For details and to register...

Ash Wednesday Service
Tuesday, February 22 at 7pm


Ash WednesdayAsh Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent in which we prepare our hearts to embrace the truth of Christ's suffering death and resurrection.  HOPE will be holding an Ash Wednesday Service
on February 22 at 7pm.  At the service you will also be able to pick up a lenten calendar to help you interact with God in the 40 days leading up to Easter.
Becoming Podcast - NEW!

The Becoming Podcast is a series of weekly audio recordings that discuss the intersection of God's truth and modern life, featuring David Dwight and Nicole Unice. Hope Thrift Ministry of the Month
Saturday, February 26

Shop the Thrift on Feb 25 and help "Men in Ties" a faith-based group of middle school boys without dads in their lives. Funds raised will give them the opportunity to attend an urban men's conference in Atlanta this Spring
Worship Arts Auditions
Sunday, March 4

Ethopia t-shirtsIf you didn't get  chance to pick up a "Love is Here" t-shirt, we still have several sizes available in white and gray. You can contact the Hope office to reserve your size. Adult ($17) and children's($15) sizes are available. Sturdy black canvas tote bags with  "Love is Here" on the front are also available ($15). You can make a difference in Ethiopia!   

Thrive in 2012!

ThriveThrive is off to a great start this semester!  Women of all ages and stages  are invited to come this, or any, Thursday for teaching, connection and discussion.  Nicole Unice continues her series on "The Harmony of Trust" this week at 10 am and 7 pm.  Childcare is provided both day and evening.  Questions? contact Jeanne Oostdyk at women@hopecentral.com.
Administrative Assistant Volunteers Needed

Our Administrative Office is becoming busier each week and is in need of some dedicated and flexible volunteers to work our Front Desk.  This is a once-a-week commitment and the goal is to staff the desk M-F with volunteers.  We do ask that you be proficient in a few basic computer programs and be able to work during the specific times:

10AM - 2PM Wednesday or Friday
12:30 - 5PM Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday

Casey and Ashley Templeton who welcomed Grace Ann into the world on February 7 at 6lb 3oz. All are well.

Rebecca and Eric Layton and siblings Emmalee and Andrew who welcomed Elizabeth Grace into the world on January 31, 2012! "We are loving every second with her and feel so blessed that she will grow in Jesus at HOPE!"

Mark and Juliet Brown who welcomed Jack Christopher into the world on February 1, 2012! He's 8 lbs 1 oz of healthy baby! Mom and baby are doing well.
