Middle of January, where is the month going? We know many of you have been BUSY finishing up UFO's, there is something about January that inspires us all to finish. It has been so much fun to see everyones finished quilts, continue to bring them in and share!
Mark you calendars for Saturday January 29th, Downtown Livermore Merchants will be dragging tables onto the sidewalks out front for the Second Annual Yard Sale. We hope the weather will hold out, be sure to come downtown and check out all of the great deals. We will have a table or two piled high with discounted books, patterns, bolts and more! If the weather is bad we will bring the sale indoors. Also, we will have over 50 quilts for sale. Many are samples that you have admired over the years, this is a perfect opportunity to buy a quilt. Give it as a gift or throw it on your couch.

This quilt is sure to make you smile as you make it. Each month you will receive fabrics to make 2-3 blocks. This quilt will be completed over 12 months and includes the pattern, fabric for the top and borders. Starts February 15, $39.95/Month 1 and $19.95/month 2-12.

  • Friendship Club Fri. Jan 28 6-9pm For those who would like to participate in a round robin. We will be starting this project in January. If you are interested, bring a 12 1/2" block for the center to Friendsip Club. We will then trade blocks and put the next border on and bring back the following month and continue this process until we have completed the Round Robin. Your initial block will set the color palette and design for the quilt. This is an excellent way to work with all colors and styles of fabric and to increase your skills. Join the fun!
