Outdoor Leadership and the Senior Cabin

Outdoor Leadership recently took a day trip followed by a hard luck trip to the senior cabin. The senior cabin (one of the old freshman cabins was moved to the base of Grass Mountain by the class of 1996), has been in need of some TLC since a tree fell upon it earlier this winter.  The group made some basic repairs to shore up some broken rafters and patch significant holes in the roof. The cabin will need some more significant work in the next year, but the work of the Outdoor Leadership students will carry it through the rest of the winter.

Evan Kidd '11 helped his basketball team at Hebron Academy head to the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council's (NEPSAC) Class "C" championship game after sealing a 75-64 victory against Providence Country Day School (PCD) of Rhode Island on Friday, March 2. This was the first time in Academy history that the school sent a basketball team to the NEPSAC finals. Hebron was also the only surviving Maine school in the Class "C" grouping of the tournament but fell to the Hyde School (CT) in the NEPSAC championship on Sunday, March 4. Congratulations, Evan!
