  • Surf Club Restart: Paul Gelles and Cory Cramer took Alba De Carlo '12, Miguel Provencio '13 and Emmet Yeazell '13 for surf club to Jalama State Beach. Though it was windy and cold (water: 54 degrees), and hard to paddle through the continuous lines of whitewater, everyone got at least a couple of waves and had a vigorous workout. The world-famous "Jalama burgers" that followed allowed students and faculty to recover their spent energy and warmth and achieve contentment--a good time was had by all!
