Each year, new students at the University of Chicago are invited nominate an educator who has changed them, challenged them, or helped then along the path toward intellectual growth.

Cross Country: Last Saturday, the Girls Cross Country team and Evan Kidd '11 ran in the Southern Sectional Finals at Mt. SAC. Despite the pouring rain, our runners ran great races with four personal records out of eight.Evan placed 30th overall and was the second best Condor League runner in the race with a time of 17:40 on the 3.15 mile rain course.The Girls team came in 11th overall in the Southern Section.The first four, Selena Wrightson '13, Phoebe Stokes '12, Chelsea Young '13 and Mara Gabriel '11, arrived on the track as a strong pack for the final stretch. Kaya Lindsay '11, Ruby Goldberg '11, and Meghan Brown '11 also ran great for their final races as Midlanders.Congratulations! Please click here for updated pictures of Cross Country meets and events.
