Junior Leadership: The juniors have been preparing for next year. On Sunday and Monday they took part in various activities and workshops.
Art Show: Several Midland students have their artwork on display at San Roque School in Santa Barbara this month. "The aim of this inaugural Creative Arts Nights is to showcase the work of children from local schools. In a time of 'benchmarking' in the areas of literacy and numeracy the creative arts have taken somewhat of a backseat in education. And so San Roque School is seeking to redress this focus and give children in the Santa Barbara area an opportunity to show their creative ideas and products in one location where parents, friends and the public at large can view these creative aspects and outcomes." The art show is located at the Upper Campus located at 2300 Garden Street. The artwork is on display until May 28. Midland students with art on display are:

Three Cups of Tea Talk: On Tuesday evening, faculty members Lise Goddard, Ben Munger '79, Laurie Munger, Martina Svennungsen and Chris Rea, along with Savannah Bryant '12, Savannah Cooley '12, Callie Bryan '12, Jack Marcus '12, Miguel Provencio '13 and Kirby Kersels '13 attended a UCSB Arts & Lectures Talk by Greg Mortenson, humanitarian and author of Three Cups of Tea.
