Cross Country: Congrats to the Boys' Cross Country Team and Coach Don Redl - Midland's boys team was recently ranked 13th in the Southern Section of California for Division 5 schools! The team competed in a non-scoring league meet at OVS on Wednesday.  Some of the boys did not race in order to stay fresh for the Santa Barbara County Championships today. Merlin Plumbley '12 and Eliad Becker '11 had great races on what turned out to be a very steep course.  For the girls, Phoebe Stokes '12 came in third overall and Tammy Yang '10 came in fourth overall.  Both teams are looking forward to the League Finals next Wednesday at Dunn.
Volleyball: Midland played Cate on Wednesday, and both teams lost but played really well. The next games are tomorrow at OVS.

The last day for Fall sports is Saturday, Nov 7th.  Winter sports begin on Monday, Nov 9th.
