Stillman Hall Renovation
Stillman Renovation Crew with BG
Midland Chef BG Kresse '68 with Jim Quick '68 and his work crew

Jim Quick '68 and his crew were hard at work all summer on the Stillman Hall renovation. The new cooking area and dish house have proven to be much more efficient. The additional space allows greater freezer and refrigerator capacity with energy efficient equipment. Our goal is to preserve more of our own fruits, vegetables and grass fed beef.  If you haven't yet, take a stroll through Stillman the next time you're on campus!
Faculty Update
Anthony Harvey '04 is Midland's Intern this year. He will be directing the Fall drama production, assisting with the theater program, as well as cooking on weekends.
Rob Hopkinson and Hayley Anson have introduced freshmen students to Midland 102. The class orients students to life on the ranch, and provides opportunities to develop outdoor skills. Rob also directs the outdoor programs and leadership course while Hayley assists with Admissions.
Katie Isaacson is a great asset to Midland. She helps Ben Munger '79 in the garden, and has taken over for Jesus Zepeda Perez, who has retired.
Lastly, Midland is extremely fortunate to have Dr. Elliott Schulman as the Midland doctor, replacing Dr. Karen Sandquist who moved back to Colorado.  Previously, Dr. Schulman was the Santa Barbara County Public Health Director.

See bios on all of Midland's faculty members.

Each year at Alumni Weekend the school honors an alumnus/a who, through distinguished service to the school and his/her community, has exemplified the ideals of Midland School.  It is our wish to recognize an alumnus or alumna for accomplishments in career, profession or volunteer service, all the while exemplifying Midland's values; and to extend the school's gratitude for strengthening and supporting Midland's mission and philosophy.
