occurred during the week at Midland. We will

New and improved website! Midland now
has an updated website - easier to navigate
and more interactive!

Stillman Hall Renovation: Over the
summer, Jim Quick '68 and his crew did an
outstanding job updating Stillman. If you
haven't yet seen it, make sure to take a tour
the next time you're on campus!

Opening Days
went smoothly and classes are in full swing.
We're looking forward to an
incredible year!

School Prefects: Congratulations to
Libang Shi and Heather Waldroup, our 2009-10 School
Prefects!

On Monday, September 7th, following the first
day of classes, we had a "Scavenger Hunt" in
which five student teams competed and learned
various facts about Midland and faculty members.

Athletics: See Midland's sports section
online for a full schedule and updated
photographs. This season students are
participating in cross, the equestrian
program, girls volleyball, organic gardening and
maintenance.

On Tuesday, September 8th, faculty member
Phil Hasseljian offered a movie on the field
under the moon and stars to kick off the year
with a "Midland-style drive-in movie."

Midland's Fifth Annual Round-Up: All
current families are invited to join us for
this year's Round-Up on October 3-4. This is
our first event on campus where families have
a chance to participate in Midland activities. See the invitation.
