On Tuesday, February 10th, Ben Affinito '11,
with faculty members Sarah Campbell and Ian
Cummings took time out from working on the
solar installation to donate blood.
APPLAUSE Art Competition: March 6th is
the deadline for the APPLAUSE Art
Competition
in the Santa Ynez Valley, an opportunity for
students to submit their work for review in
three categories: performing, literary and
visual arts.
On Thursday, February 12th, six faculty
members, 25 sophomores, and one junior, Gus,
climbed Gaviota Peak, an ascent of almost 2500'.

Gathering for Alumni/ae, Parents,
and Friends is on Friday, February 27th.
Athletics:
Our winter season with Basketball and Soccer
games has concluded. The spring sports season
brings Lacrosse...
Basketball:
The Varsity basketball team finished 4-3,
ending the season with a strong showing
against Besant Hill, one of the best teams in
the southern part of the state. The JV team
finished 5-0.
Soccer:
The Varsity boys closed the season last
Friday with a 3-1 loss at Dunn, with Joey
Hermosillo '09 tallying a late goal on an
assist from Marcus Schmidt '12. Varsity Boys
finished with an overall record of 3-7-3 and
a Condor League record of 1-6-3. Every loss
was by one or two goals.
