Hello!
I'm writing this week's e-zine from beautiful Wilmington, NC. My purpose for being here is two-fold: Business -- to visit with Andrea Anderson, Executive Director of the Paper Tiger Productivity Institute, and learn more about the iPEP program. iPEP allows you and your team to collaborate and be way more productive with a document management workspace.
And personal, to visit my brother, Gerard and his family, in Jacksonville. I'll be there on Friday!

A Peek at iPEP
Are you on the go like I am and want to access your computer and files from afar for current projects?
Are you still dealing with physical files that are not organized and you can't seem to find the right file when you need it?
Some of the bigger corporations are using Microsoft Sharepoint, or at least have planned on deploying this tool: however, the learning curve is large and it's stuck in the development phase. With the iPEP system, you can create a secured shared environment for just yourself to use, or include as many users/team members as you like by creating a dashboard of the programs, websites, and files you most often need.
If you are currently a Paper Tiger user, you get the concept! iPEP is a similar tool, just more advanced. No need to convert, unless you are ready for the newest technology, or if you are changing computers -- then you will really want to look at this new product. Mac users -- great news, you can now organize your files. (woo hoo!!)

How to get started? Keep it simple with iPEP!
IPEP overview:
Create a mirror of your physical files:
-
Set up the basic folders, for action files, reference files and archives.

Inventory the files with as many keywords as you can think of.

Search the files later based on the keywords and be directed to where the file is located.
More advanced:
- Import scanned documents that relate to the physical files.
- Add photos relative to the file.
- Link to websites that correspond to the file.
Little extras:
- The iPEP is a web based product, so you can access it anytime you have access to the internet.
- Share documents like Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint files, etc...
- Collaborative page editing
- Maintain a complete history and audit trail
- AND have full security, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology
Life is getting more simple, more organized, and now more accessible! |
