DESCRIPTION
Aroma: Strong aroma of roasted malts with a roasted coffee or dark chocolate quality.
Appearance: Jet black color, with a large, persistent light brown head.
Flavor: Roasted malt flavor similar to roasted coffee beans, dark or bittersweet chocolate. Tasty malt sweetness, with rich chocolate and caramel flavors. Medium bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full Bodied.
Overall Impression: Irish Stout has a high level of roasted grain bitterness, well balanced with a smooth hop character.
