Your Rights are on the Line
Be at Queen's Park this Tuesday
On Tuesday August 28th, come to Queen's Park and stand up for bargaining rights, public education, and democracy.
This is your opportunity to express your opposition to the government's plan to legislate your wages and benefits. This is your chance to convey how betrayed you feel by this government's actions. By recalling the Legislature to introduce an anti-collective bargaining bill, the Liberals are creating an artificial crisis. They are misleading the public about teachers and other education professionals jeopardizing the start of the school year. This legislation is unprecedented in its attack on bargaining rights. Its effects will be felt for decades to come. Stand with members of ETFO, OSSTF, CUPE Ontario, and others to demand your right to fair negotiations.

It is recommended that you bring cash in the form of coins for parking and appropriate transit fees. Some access points from the parking lots require a TTC token. At these locations a machine is available to dispense tokens but the machine will only accept ten or twenty dollar bills. The machine will dispense tokens and the appropriate change.
