Kentucky 4-H Forestry Competition and Training
UK Forestry Extension will be hosting the Kentucky 4-H Forestry Competition and Training on March 5 at the UK Arboretum in Lexington, KY. The winning team will have the opportunity to compete in the National 4-H Forestry Invitational held in Weston, WV on July 22-26. Managing Woodlands for Speciality Forest Products
Properly managing woodlands can yield more than just timber products. Under a well-managed forest canopy, an abundance of specialty forest crops and products are achievable. One Acre at a Time: Woodland Owner Seminar
Join us for this special seminar on March 27 in Lagrange, KY and learn about issues that are important to Kentucky's woodland owners. Got Cedar: Now What?
The "Got Cedar: Now what?" program is designed to assist landowners that have redcedar on their property and are not sure of what to do with it. By attending this program, you will gain an understanding of the redcedar markets, how to manage and harvest redcedar, and how to go about selling it.
