A SPECIAL HOLIDAY GIFT

It's that time of the year when in the spirit of Holidays we are especially giving. We think of special gifts to give our loved ones and make donations to help needy strangers close to home or around the world. This year, why not do both?

 Ksenija WellDavid Kosters

Surprise a dear friend or a family member with a "Gift that Keeps on Flowing" - a Water Well in a rural village of Cambodia, that will change the life and health of a family and many of their neighbors for many years to come. Your donation of $220 is fully tax deductible and will get you with a beautiful photo of the well with the name of the recipient on the board above it and the smiling faces of people who use it. Wrap up the photo in a gift box or send with your holiday card.

Polio Victim Prak 2010

A NEW YEAR-A NEW CHANCE FOR A SELF SUFFICIENT FUTURE

Our first Travel with Purpose trip to Cambodia has just returned, filled with enthusiasm and admiration for the palpable difference that is being made by our organization and Mr. Panha's team on the ground. Our group of twelve travellers visited their sponsored projects in villages and schools. The visits to wells were full of emotion and healing and the visits to schools full of joy and excitement. It was wonderful to see the happiness of the children able to use new playgrounds, complete with swing sets, slides, see-saw and merry-go-rounds and distribute school supplies to our scholarship students.

A visit to Little Angel City Orphanage was especially moving when we were introduced to Prak, a polio victim in a wheelchair, that Jenni has followed for some years. He has now become a young man and is finishing school. When asked what he wanted to do in the future, he expressed a wish to take a course and become a TV repairman. Yes, there is electricity in the town, if not in the villages! It would take $500 for him to study and learn a trade. He would then be able to support himself and leave the orphanage for good! Let us know if you can help fulfil his dream with any amount .
