Attention RUTS members!

Greetings!

Our September club meeting will be Monday September 12th, not Monday the 5th (Labor Day), at Fuddruckers in Buena Park. The food and fellowship is always great, so come and join us. This months meeting will focus on some of our upcoming events, races and events. Summer is almost over so dust off the bikes and get ready to ride!

September Club Ride - Green Valley Lake, September 17th. RUTS will be having our September Club Ride in a cool place, located at an elevation of 7000 feet. That's right! We're escaping the heat of the desert and going riding, swimming, fishing, boating, and having a picnic in the quaint little town of Green Valley Lake. Read all about it here.

October Club Ride
Mike Tarter Memorial Motolympics
Oct 22nd and 23rd.

This club favorite is planned from beginning to end with our kids in mind. From the ever popular "SLOW RACE", to the balloon pop, slalom course and my favorite the flat track circle races. If your looking for an event to invite some friends in your church or neighborhood to, this is the one! We will have trophies and awards on Saturday night followed by Movie night on the big screen. Its a day packed with activities that will leave the whole family smiling with lots to share around the campfire! Volunteer helpers needed. Contact scott@ruts.org if you can assist in any way! Mark your calendars, we are 2 months away!

Upcoming Races
The season is here!

RUTS has pit support at all District 37 races that have pits. These are mainly the Desert Scrambles and the Hare and Hounds.

Danny and Caprice will be pit captains the upcoming race at Spangler on 9/11. The Los Coyotes Desert Scramble. Flyer here. Danny runs a MEAN pit, so dont miss this race.

The Shamrocks TRIPLE European (for you guys chasing POINTS) is Sept 24th and 25th at Slash-X. Check out the event flyer for

Shamrocks. I think George Green is pit captain for this race. Not sure, but no worries, the pits will be covered, come out and get you some POINTS!

Scott Burnett will be pit captain for the October race in Ridgecrest, the Viewfinders Grand prix on October 1st and 2nd. On Saturday its a grand prix, no pit support needed. On Sunday the 2nd its a 100 mile scramble and we will have AWESOME pit support. Dont miss this one. Details for that race will be available on the website soon.

Club Jerseys!!
Get yours while you can.

We have started our 2011 order list. We have 10 people on the list and need at least 15 more so we can place an order (minimum of 25 to get the price break). Price will $60 each if we only get 25. If we can get the list closer to 50 jerseys then the price comes done to $50. For now, just get your RSVP to Danny Zierau ASAP! email rutsracer@yahoo.com your name and size. When we place the order, we will ask those on the list to mail payment to Danny. We will order as soon as we have enough names. If your not on the order, it will be 1 year wait until the NEXT order so DO NOT DELAY! Get in with the "cool club" (they are ventilated!) and get that RUTS jersey...and an extra too!
