POST IT AND BE SEEN

Greetings!

There is no doubt that the internet is the way to be seen.
Placing a video on your web site will increase your presence on the web.
They say google and search engines in general, love video.
They look for it on your web site and increase your search ability.

We try to keep the opening video on your home page sometimes called your landing page short.
Under 2 minutes is the rule. This video is designed to introduce, yourself, product and or service.
Other videos on your site strategically placed can include testimonials, detailed product and service explanations
Product demos etc... In the end it hopefully will allow your clients to utilize your call to action.

When it comes to an event be it an wedding, anniversary any type of celebration the opportunity to share this event (in most cases the Highlights.) is irresistible. Placing your event highlights via You Tube or Vimeo on the internet can be done very easily.
I would set up your own You Tube or Vimeo channel that you or I can control, add videos to, edit videos and adjust the look of.
We can even control who would have access to your video.

Placing video on the net gives you the opportunity to share these moments with those who could not make it. Grandparents too ill to travel can experience your wedding, just like they were there. Its great to relive the memories also. We usually get comments, congratulations from event guests and these are a hoot to watch again and again.

There are so many different advantages to placing your video on the net can you think why you might want to do it for your next special occasion?

Sincerely,

David Cooperstone

QUESTION OF THE
MONTH

What has been the biggest change in
your industry in the last 20 years?

By far the biggest change has been accessibility to quality cameras and editing software.
If I can take you back to the late eighties, early 90's; there was no High Definition, there was no DVD'S, no DSLRS (Still cameras that can shot video) no card technology. As a professional in the field I was shooting with a $2000 Hi 8 camera editing machine to machine, no computer. Over the last 20 years the first big change was editing via computer. First it was complicated, expensive and frustrating. There was lots of problems with incompatibility with peripherals  needed for editing video. Today almost every PC and Mac you buy comes with editing software. Cameras have also changed radically, now for under a $1000 you can get a High Definition video camera that either has an internal hard drive or records on memory cards. The quality of these units totally out shines what I used even 5 years ago.
However as I say again and again  IT TAKES MORE THAN A GOOD VIDEO CAMERA AND SOME EDITING SOFTWARE TO MAKE A GOOD VIDEO.  Professionals as myself have the years of  experience that is necessary to produce quality videos.
