Greetings!

   
I network 2-3 times a week with one of the 7 business/clubs I am involved with.
No doubt half of you have met me either at BNI, ESN,KBC,FCBE,BCPVA,VVPC,RCC. I hated the idea at first now I see it as my best business/marketing strategy.

Along with this newsletter this year networking is my big push. So next time you see me, tell me as some of you have, that you read/viewed my newsletter. Or perhaps that you've unsubscribed  and would like to not be bothered further. In either case it starts a conversation and a relationship. This is the essence of networking; conversation and relationships.

Q  and A  at The Studio
Recently the following questions were posed to me. Here they are with the answers. 
 
Q. How and why is video driving people to web sites?  
A. In one word Google, see Corporate Video of the month for more. Video tells stories-has a narrative and is entertaining. If a picture is worth a thousand words then how much is a moving picture with sound worth? 

Q.Where and How did you learn how to do what you do?
A.From doing it. From my first super 8 film in 1970 to my last video in 2011, that's a lot of years to be producing movies and videos. I also have a diploma and degree in Creative Arts and Communication.

Q. How far will you travel to video an event ? 
A.To the ends of the earth, if you will pay my plane fare.

Q. What equipment do you use?
A. I will not say the best or the latest and the greatest, what I will say is I use equipment that I know like they are part of me. Knowing your gear and how to use it beats someone who has a camera placed in his hands for the first time, no matter how big or expensive it is.
