The staff of OLP, with help from parish volunteers, has been working hard to make arrival and dismissa safer for everyone.  Please help us by following these rules.

In the morning, please enter the parking lot at the west end of the campus, and exit at the east end (Pacific Ave.).  Traffic along the school building should be one way and one lane.  Have your child exit from the right side of the car.  If you would like to walk your child into the gym, you must park in the west parking lot and enter through the main gym lobby doors.  Please do not park along the west side of the building as this is where the buses drop off students.

In the afternoon, you must park your car in the lot and walk up to the coned area outside the main entrance of the school and pick up your children within that area.  Children are not permitted outside the coned area without an adult to accompany them.  Please be sure that you are parked in a lined parking space.

Our biggest concern is the safety of everyone.  Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

The athletic board is looking for an athletic photographer to photograph all the teams.  This person must have a professional background in photography, be able to work with you in providing yearbook photographs as well as provide team and individual photo packages for purchase.  Anyone interested should contact Pat Geary at 814.04.3006.

Attention 7^th & 8^th Graders 

Just a friendly reminder that the OLP Middle School Youth Group Registration Form, $15.00 Registration Fee, and Promise of Behavior need to be returned to Mrs. Ehrman no later than Friday, September 14, 2012.  You need to have these forms in prior to attending our two upcoming events.

Our Spiritual and Fun Events for September are:

Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 7:00pm: Living Rosary in the Church.  Come be a part of this special Rosary at the OLPChurch. No need to sign up and families are more than welcome to attend as well! Mrs. Cooney and Mrs. Burt have graciously volunteered to officiate this event.

Saturday, September 29, 2012: Hiking trip to Nelson Ledges in Ohio. This is a great event (so I've heard), and Fr. Jason will be having "Mass in the Meadow." A packed lunch and a change of clothes will be needed; pop and water will be provided.  Rain date will be in the spring.  Permission slips and Drivers Needed forms will be going home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. These forms need to be back no later than September 19. 2012. This is a free event! Any questions, please contact either Mrs. Gwynn or Mrs. Roach.
