We welcome Miss Mary Beth Ek as the new principal of Our Lady of Peace School. Miss Ek will begin her new role on August 1, 2012. We are excited to have hear as the principal and look forward to a great 2012 - 2013 school year.

Erie Insurance Matching Gift Program
Do you work for Erie Insurance? Great news! Erie Insurance recently announced they have significantly expanded the list of organizations that can now receive a matching gift including Catholic schools. If an Erie Insurance employee makes a gift to OLP between $25 and $5,000, Erie Insurance will match it. JV Girls Basketball Tryouts
The Girls JV Basketball team will have tryouts on July 23, 2012, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm (one day only). All girls in 5th and 6th grade are welcome to try out. Please arrive 15 minutes early before the tryout.
Clay Basketball Winners
The 3rd and 4th grade girls won their division in CLAY basketball and were presented this trophy prior to the end of the school year.

OLP School Uniforms
Used Uniform Sale
Last chance to drop off used uniforms prior to the sale: Monday, August 6th from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., and Tuesday, August 7th from 5 :00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Daily Center (gym) lobby.
The Used Uniform Sale will be held on August 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Daily Center. All items are available for $1.00. If you have any questions please contact Virginia Prischak at 397-0451, or email at vprischak@yahoo.com.

Grandparents' & Grandfriends' Day 2012
The 4th Annual Grandparents'/Grandfriends' Day will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012, in the afternoon for Kindergarten - Eighth grade. Invitations will be sent mid-August. If you have any changes for people to invite from who you invited last year, please send an e-mail to Miss Lisa Wenner, Director of Advancement at lwenner@olpcrusaders.org. If you are new to the school or moving from preschool to kindergarten, simply send us the name, address, email, and phone number of the people who you would like to invite. It can be a grandparent, Godparent, aunt, uncle, neighbor, etc.
The 4 year old preschool is planning their own special day on Friday, September 28, 2012. Details will be sent at a later date to those families.
