Bus Reminder
Thursday, June 7, 2012 there will be bus transportation for the morning arrival only. There will be no bus transportation at 10:30 for dismissal. All parents need to provide transportation for their students at dismissal. |

Daisy Scouts Honored
 The OLP Daisy Scouts were presented the Angel on My Shoulder Pin on Thursday, May 31, 2012 after the school Liturgy. They earned this pin by learning about the Saints over the past months. Congratulations Girls! |

2012 Graduates
 The Our Lady of Peace Class of 2012 Graduated on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 7:00p.m. in the OLP Church. Ryan Boorum gave an inspiring and amusing speech as the elected class speaker. Father Michael DeMartinis came back to OLP as the Honored Guest Speaker.
Congratulations to all of the Graduates and we wish you well as you move on to the various high schools!

Golf Team News
The OLP Golf Team particpated in the Diocesan 2 Person Best Ball Scramble held at JC Martin Golf Course Saturday, June 2, 2012.
 Congratulations to the 1st place winners for the 7th and 8th grade boys, Jack Knox and Tim Winschel.
 Way to go to the 2nd place winners for the 7th and 8th grade girls, Kayla Kolodychak and Nicole Kurpiewski.

OLP Used Uniform Sale
HAVE YOUR KIDS OUTGROWN THEIR OLP UNIFORMS?
Do you want to clean out the clutter in closets and drawers? We have the answer! Bring your clean, gently used but still wearable uniforms and spirit wear to the gym before or after school on Tuesday June 5th or Wednesday June 6th. There will also be two drop off dates in August, on Monday, August 6th from 12 - 1, and Tuesday, August 7th from 5 to 6 in the gym lobby. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 8th for the annual uniform sale from 6:30 - 8. NOTE: The used uniform sale will be held in the GYM this year rather than in the cafeteria. New family orientation will be held in the cafeteria this same evening. All items are available for $1.00. OLP Fall Sports 2012 TENNIS
Is tennis your game! Are you interested in learning ! We would love to have you as part of the OLP tennis team. Students in Grades 5 through 8 are eligible to play tennis. We play singles and doubles. The OLP tennis team also participates in the Diocesan Tournament. Practices start the very first week of school. OLP Golf Outing 2012
The date of the Our Lady of Peace/ Hank Starr Memorial Golf Outing is quickly approaching. The event will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Whispering Woods with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. There will be dinner and prizes immediately following golf.

Grandparents' & Grandfriends' Day 2012
We want to make sure you mark your calendars now and let grandma and grandpa know about the 4th Annual Grandparents'/Grandfriends' Day. The event will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 for Kindergarten - eighth grade. Invitations will be sent over the summer. If you have any changes for people to invite from who you invited last year, please send an e-mail to Miss Lisa Wenner, Director of Advancement at lwenner@olpcrusaders.org or send Miss Wenner a note to the school. If you are new to the school or moving from preschool to kindergarten, simply send us the name, address, email, and phone number of the people who you would like to invite. It can be a grandparent, Godparent, aunt, uncle, neighbor etc.
Each year we have adjusted the day based on feedback received from individuals. The 2012 event will begin at 1:00 p.m. with registration in the Daily Center. Guests will spend time with the students in the classrooms and be able to tour the school with the students. At 2:30 p.m. all will gather for a prayer service. Students will be able to leave at the end of the prayer service with their guests.
The preschool is planning their own special day. Details are still being worked on and will be communicated to those families.
We are looking forward to this day and hope the adjustment in the schedule makes for an even more enjoyable day for all. |
