Spread the word, spread the love, share the goodies!

Unbelievably we are over half way through the first month of 2011!  Time is flying and my thoughts have turned lately to giving.  What can I share, what memories can I build, what sweetness can I weave into someone elses's life.

One of my children's favorite questions to ask my and their father is tell us a funny story about when we were little or even when YOU were little!  They love to hear the stories of our life together from long ago or even last week - do you remember?  Shared memories and moments together are a big part of what makes us ...well, us.

This year I am challenging myself to spread the word of the thing that has made such a huge difference in my life - healhy, crave worth, goodies straight from the garden.  Won't you join me?  From today through the end of February, Pure Market Express is running an affiliate special.  Sign up as a PME affiliate and receive 10% affiliate pay through the end of February - whoohoo!  That means for every 10 friends that discover the joy of fresh, yummy, natural meals you could have a whole week of food delivered to your own door!

Just email Chef Rebecca at rebecca@puremarketexpress.com and we'll get you signed up and send you links and buttons and all kinds of fun stuff!  Come help us spread the word about yummy Pure Market Express goodies!

Radiantly yours,

It's all about Options
 superman
Have you ever noticed that something that totally works for you doesn't work for someone else?  Something that tastes fabulous to you makes your best friend turn up their nose?  The breakfast that makes you feel like a million dollars gives your friend a headache for the rest of the day?

As I travel further down the road to ideal health for me and for my family, now with seven children in the house, I realize that everyone is created unique and is no "one size fits all" path for every person.  Some of us thrive on an avocado a day and others feel weighed down.  We all need options.  Life is all about options.  I want the option to explore the paths that might be best for me.  Whether that is plant based (makes ME feel SO good), vegan, vegetarian or even omnivore, having the option to follow our path is the definition of freedom.

I love options!  Now this is where the other shoe drops, right?  I love options for ME but for others (my children, for instance), well, it's quite obvious that I know best.  I see this coming out so much in the tidal wave of poeple turning toward healthy living.  It's hard to keep up with all the strong opinions out there.  Have you heard these?  Cacao is poison! Spirulina is a superfood!  Agave is the same as corn syrup!  All corn is bad! You must have green powder to keep a nutrient balance.  No supplements is the best way - all nutritional needs can be met through food.  The trouble is there is always a touch of truth in extreme statements.  That is why they appeal to so many people.

But the power comes through the choice.  The option to choose what is best for you.  No cacao, occasional cacao? Agave, honey or dates or nothing at all? The power of our own choice infuses our very being with the power of controlling our own destiny, taking responsibility our success or failure, and forging the very best path for us.  Today seize your power, take advantage of every option to create the best path for true health and happiness for YOU.  And then take the next step and grant those around you the same freedom to choose their own options.

For this moment, for this day, for this fantabulous year, choose to seize your options and live in the power of those options.  Focus on the beauty of each day rather than the ugliness of any moment.  When fear confronts you, focus on the fierceness within you.  Take responsibility for your future.  Learn from each option you have.  Never be afraid to admit you were wrong.  We all do the best we can with the knowledge we have, when we learn more - we do better.  Remember to be true to your own ideals, make a wide path of compassion for the options of others, root yourself in your convictions and measure your success in the length of their patience.
