In Evolution - being more of you:

walk like an Egyptian

People yearn to be free.

Freedom is not just some airy-fairy concept; it is inherent in the basic "physics" of who we are. That is, from a physics perspective we are
all composed of energy. And as energy is always in flux - vibrating,
shifting, changing - anything that impedes or obstructs our freedom
to experience and express our Self fully, violates the essential
substance of who we are as human beings.

Communities, cultures, institutions, and governments endeavor to
provide us with order, organization, boundaries, rules, and laws.
Indeed, this is often what keeps us from chaos.

There is however, a fine line between what serves, supports, and
provides us with structure, safety, and security...and what can
impinge, impede, or obstruct our freedom.

It is incumbent upon each of us to recognize from within ourselves, when something that may have helped us - perhaps for a long, long
time - now harms or hurts us more than it helps us. This is the time
to say, "No more."

Less than 3 weeks ago, the people of Egypt stood up and said
"No more." They risked everything that we hold as sacrosanct -
security, safety, structure - in order to be free. They shifted long
held beliefs about their power and their place in the world and
stepped into a new - and wholly unknown - reality; a reality of tremendous challenges and changes.

The people of Egypt expressed their yearning to be free, created
a revolution, and won their freedom. They claimed their personal
dignity and asserted their personal power.

The road ahead in Egypt is unknown, unstable, and quite likely precarious...for Egypt, for the Middle East, and for the world. Facing
fears, meeting challenges, and making changes is often like that.

But freedom is worth it.

Our country is the only nation on the face of the earth that was
founded
on the concept of freedom. This concept of freedom - and
our Constitution which embodies that very concept - has weathered
more than 230 years of challenge, change, and controversy.
Regardless of our flaws as a nation - or as a people - you'd be hard pressed to name any other country on the planet as innovative,
ingenious, or humane.

We as a people embody that freedom...that innovation, genius,
and humanity. Freedom is created, generated, and sustained from
within us, from who we are as individuals.

Ask yourself today; is there anything in my life that once helped me...
but now impedes me or obstructs me, harms me or hurts me?

What can I do to free my self?

Walk like an Egyptian.
