To quote a famous phrase from the 1960's, "make love, not war." Don't get me wrong, I'm
not advocating for a sexual revolution; instead, I'm advocating for a sexual
evolution. Why?Again, it's about energy; sexual energy. As I am sure you've
noticed sexual energy is pretty powerful stuff. Sexual energy is
the gateway to creative energy; that is, sexual energy is the gateway to the energy of creation itself; the energy that
actually creates life. I know we've minimized it, super-sized it, marginalized it, romanticized it, even spiritualized it...
but the power to create human life is a very big deal. When we engage our sexual energy, especially in combination
with the energy of love itself...that's akin to creating the nuclear power of human energy! So, even when we are not creating a human life,
we are engaging in a powerful act of creation. We are in fact, creating
more of our Self; deepening, expanding,
exploring, and experiencing the "life" energy and creative
energy
within us.
I think it's pretty safe to say that most all of us could use more
of
the energy of "creation" in our lives; in our relationships
and in our sexuality. I think it's also pretty safe to say that
the world could use more of the energy of creation - innovation
and inspiration - that we are able to easily share when we are consciously engaged in a process of becoming
more of who
we are.
Sexual energy is a powerful tool of human potential. In fact,
sexual energy is our built-in evolutionary tool; you could
call it the "nuclear tool" of human evolution.
Healthy, well-balanced, mature sexuality...and loving, intimate, accepting relationships...support your physical, emotional,
mental, and spiritual health, happiness, and well-being. Sexuality and relationships support
your evolution. So, make love, not war.
