It's simple physics.
You are energy. It is a fact of physics that
we are all composed of energy. So, when you
change the energy
of who you are, it impacts everyone and everything around you.
It is what Gandhi meant when he said,
"be the change you wish
to see in the world."Take on your
own evolution and
you change the world.
When you model for others what it is to be certain, intimate, fulfilled,
free...you become a living, breathing example of
what is possible for them, too.Becoming more of who you are isn't about narcissism; it's about
our evolution as human beings. In a tip of my hat to the existentialists I often say, "what I do for me, I do for humanity."
Until now our evolution as human beings has always been a
choice; we chose to evolve...or not. Until now we have relied
upon biology, belief, and belonging - science, information, and technology - to inform our reality and guide us in our
perceptions and choices.
Now however, we are experiencing an increasingly challenging
and rapidly changing world...
every day. A world in which the structures, institutions, and beliefs we have always relied
upon - money markets and Mother Nature, intimacy and
information, truth and technology -
are shifting, changing,
and deconstructing before our very eyes; a world in which
different people are experiencing a
different idea of what "reality" actually is.
Some people, like the young man accused of shooting Congresswoman Gabby Gibbons, are in fact, existing in a self-created alternate reality that has little connection to
actual reality.
With all of this in mind:
· How can you
be in this world, now?
· What can you do to
see this world with certainty?
· What can you do to
meet this world with intimacy?
· How can you
enjoy your life more fully
and impact the
world more directly?
· How can
we help those who have lost touch with reality?
You can become
more of who you are. You can tend well to
your emotional well-being.
You can choose to evolve. More next time...
