"The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is from the lord"
Proverbs 21:31
Theme verse for 2010

Well, summer camp has been over for more than a month now and you're back at school, work, and with the family and friends. We have just about rapped up Fall Riding Session 1 and will be starting Session 2. Many campers have returned to keep improving their riding skills and have been working on their horse and rider relationship.

There were over 20 mothers and daughters here for the Ladies and Girls Getaway Weekend. They too were building new and stronger relationships with each other and the Lord.

Yet to come is our annual Men and Boys Shooting Sports Weekend this will be held on October 29 and 30 . This is where fathers, sons, men, and boys will have an opportunity to work on their relationships.

On November 13 we will be hosting our first Fall Family Stampede were you and your family can come out and enjoy a day at the Ranch together.

All of these events and activities are designed to help prepare you in building strong relationships here at the Ranch with the horses and your family, but most importantly building your relationship with God.

So how are you doing at building these relationships?

Maybe you need to "Stop", "Look ", and "Listen".
Horse Sense Guide #1 Says "Take a moment stop and see what is going on and listen to each other. Spend a little time together listing to each other and to what God may be trying to teach you, and see what He is preparing you for".

Today as I was headed out for a Prayer Breakfast God challenged me with what I'm doing to help encourage all of you in building your relationship with Him. Not just at camp or in class, but on a ongoing basis. So I want to remind you to daily, if not daily, but weekly,  take time to "Stop", "Look", and "Listen" to God.

"Stop ", look up Proverbs 10:1 read it and ask yourself ...God, What do you want me to learn form this verse, and how will help me in my relationship with you and my parents?

I plan on sending you verses to look up and little Bible chats like this. But what I need you to do for is pray for me, that I stay on top of this challenge God has given me. And I will continue to pray for you as well.
You all know how great and fond I am about computers and email.

                                                                                                                         In Christ,
                                                                                                                         Mr. Pat
