Global Reading Challenge In-School Battle
      Monday, January 30th, 11:30-12:15pm

Forty-nine 4th and 5th graders from Dickinson and Explorer will be battling to represent our school in the Global Reading Challenge. This In-School battle is open to parents of these students to come cheer them on! They have been reading 10 books for this challenge. Let's root them on!

Kindergarten Registration

Thursday, February 2nd, 1-7pm, Dickinson Library

Come to the Dickinson library anytime between 1pm and 7pm to register.

You will need to bring: Proof of age (Birth Certificate or passport) and Immunizations.

If interested in All Day Kindergarten, you will need to bring your checkbook, or money order to pay for one month of tuition. Tuition this year is $330.00 a month.
Half-day kindergarten is provided for all children in the district. There is a fee for all-day kindergarten. If more than 21 children register for any all-day kindergarten classes, the district holds an enrollment selection drawing. More details are available on the PTSA website.

Career Fair
Thursday, February 23rd, 9-11:30am
The Counseling Department is excited to announce that the Career Fair is coming soon on Thursday, February 23rd, from 9-11:30am! The Career Fair is an exciting time for your child to hear about different opportunities in the world of work from people in our community! Even though your child's career path won't start for quite some time, elementary school is a time when children can be exposed to the different types of careers and additionally they can see how developing good school habits are similar to the habits needed in the career world. In the coming weeks, it would be a great time to talk with your child about what they might want to be when they grow up and maybe share with them how you began your journey to the career you are currently in! Thank you for being part of your child's education, dreams & goals!
