Texas Caregiver Survey

Unpaid caregivers throughout Texas are encouraged to respond to a caregiver survey being conducted by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). The data will be provided to legislators and policy makers, with the potential for influencing both policy decisions as well as funding.

To help HHSC understand caregiver needs, the state
agency is asking that surveys be completed by individuals who provide unpaid, primary care for any individual of any age (birth through the end of life) with any disability or chronic illness. This also includes grandparents who are 55 and older raising grand-children 18 years and under. These caregivers may be unpaid family members or friends.
