Introducing The Hidden Hills Collection
We are proud to announce the launch of our new line of hand-crafted, hand-joined custom cabinets exclusive to East Hill Cabinetry: The Hidden Hills Collection. Every detail of the collection is custom designed by East Hill professionals, and handcrafted by our team of craftsmen located in the Hidden Hills of Russell, Massachusetts.

Purchased from environmentally friendly loggers, the cabinets are designed, built, and constructed like fine furniture with complete precision and meticulous attention to detail. Sample designs will be showcased in our Briarcliff Manor showroom, however there are no standard designs or finishes for the collection; all designs are project based on the client vision.

The cabinets are made from handpicked hardwood from the New England region, hand constructed and assembled by craftsman with years experience. Rather than the usual plywood or particle board, all shelving in the Hidden Hills Collection is made of solid wood which enables generations of function. The cabinet doors are 5/4" thick as opposed to the 3/4'' industry standard. Each drawer is designed from solid maple, and features self-closing slides and dovetail joints. The line of cabinetry is altogether one-of-a-kind and state-of-the-art.
The final result is state-of-the-art hand-finished cabinets that define beauty and superior craftsmanship, guaranteed to keep you satisfied for life. East Hill Cabinetry also prides itself on personal service. To maintain the highest quality, The Hidden Hills Collection can only be created for eight kitchens per year, and are installed by those who are most familiar with the product - the craftsmen who constructed them by hand.

Changing the Filter in Your Heating & Cooling System
Here is small and inexpensive trick of the trade which will ensure that your heating and cooling systems are working to their greatest potential. I strongly suggest the filter be changed or cleaned bi-monthly if not every month to extend the lifespan and effectiveness of your systems. Keep in mind that a clogged filter does not allow enough air into your system, therefore making it work less efficiently.
Of course, every home is different, and these differences may contribute to how long you may wait to change out the filters, but I say - what's the wait? Changing the filter of your air conditioner or furnace is very simple and inexpensive. You can purchase disposable filters or washable electrostatic filters anywhere from $40-$80. These filters can be hosed off or vacuumed, and re-used for up to 20 years.
When it comes to finding the right filters, ditch the economy panel filters that are sold in a pack of 5 for about $10. Instead spend a little extra cash on better quality and reusable filters - which will save you money in the long run. Try electrostatic or HEPA instead, and don't forget to clean them out next month! |
