What's New at ROCK'n & JAM'n? |
Winning! No..no...no... not the kind that has anything to do with tiger blood, but the kind of winning we can all have some fun with. I've experienced a couple of exciting, if not improbable, "wins" in my life. One in particular was beyond all odds. I was involved in a weekend competition in 1987 to benefit the Longmont Learning Center. The benefit included a raffle of great prizes. After the competition was over, I had to race off to the airport to pick up a guy that I just started dating and missed the raffle drawing. As it turned out, I won the top three raffle prizes and married the guy that I raced off to pick up. Winner!
